Yes, parts of Cocofloss can be recycled! Here’s the rundown:
Cocofloss boxes — YES!
- Our colorful Cocofloss boxes are made of 100% recycled paper fibers. Toss them into the recycling bin or take them to your nearest recycling drop-off site.
BTW, Cocofloss sought the most sustainable packaging possible and is delighted to work with San Francisco Bay family-run printer Moquin. The paper stock used for Cocofloss packaging is FSC-certified, carbon neutral, and produced with 100% e-Green certified windpower from Monadnock Paper Mills. Learn More...
Cocofloss dispenser — YES!
- Your Cocofloss dispenser is made of ~95% recycled polypropylene that can be recycled yet again. But before you recycle your empty Cocofloss dispenser, did you know you can refill it with any of our 4 classic scents?
After your dispenser has been used for ages, visit https://cocofloss.com/pages/recycle for step-by-step directions on how to recycle it. We’re proud to have partnered with Pact, a nonprofit collective that processes hard-to-recycle containers from the beauty and wellness industry, so that you can feel confident your dispenser will be properly recycled.
Floss material — not at this time.
- Although Cocofloss is spun from ~85% recycled water bottles, unfortunately, it cannot be recycled again at this time. This is due to the complexity of the recycling process and the fact that Cocofloss is waxed. We're always looking for a more sustainable solution; unfortunately, we haven't yet found any all-natural options that meet our performance standards.
